International Studies B.A. Honors Program

The Honors Program in International Studies is open to junior and senior majors in International Studies with an overall grade point average of 3.0 and a 3.5 in the major. Students formally apply to the Honors Program at the end of the junior year.

International Studies National Honor Society

The National Honor Society in International Studies was established in 1985, and welcomed the University of California, Irvine, designated Gamma Gamma, as its newest chapter on November 30, 2006. The Gamma Gamma Chapter was established primarily as a means by which to honor those students who have excelled academically and to foster integrity and creative performance in the understanding of world affairs.

"The purpose of this organization shall be to promote and reward scholarship and service among students and practitioners of international studies, international affairs, and global studies and to foster integrity and creative performance in the conduct of world affairs."-SIR
